The D2200EA is the D2200E with the accessibility module built in, including the integrated hearing loop. Like the standard unit it rear-mounts into an existing D21x installation, so the housing, front panel and wiring stay where they are and only the electronics change. Specify this version where the building has an accessibility obligation to meet, or where the entry serves residents using hearing aids — retrofitting the capability later means replacing the electronic unit a second time.
