FAQ
Questions before you book
Do you help remotely or only on-site?
Both. Most setup, network, notification, and integration work is done remotely over a screen-share session. For mounting, wiring, and building-scale installs we offer on-site visits—book the On-Site Intercom Audit or Technician Service.
I haven’t bought yet—can you tell me which DoorBird to get?
Yes. The Remote Assessment covers model selection, wiring and network feasibility, and whether you need a new install or a retrofit—so you buy the right system the first time. Reach out and ask about applying it toward your hardware order.
Do you support my model?
We work across the full DoorBird line—D1101/D2101 single-family stations, D21DKV and D31 multi-tenant systems, A-series access control, and retrofit/upgrade modules. If you have the model number handy, mention it when you book.
Can you connect DoorBird to HomeKit / Home Assistant / my phone system?
Yes. DoorBird discontinued native HomeKit, Alexa and Google, so we bridge it through Home Assistant or Homebridge, and we set up SIP/VoIP, NVR/RTSP, Control4, Loxone and KNX. Choose “Custom project or integration” for a quote.
I have an apartment building or commercial site.
That’s our sweet spot. Start with a Remote Assessment (10+) or an On-Site Company Assessment and we’ll scope call buttons, access control, wiring and the device/app limits before anything is ordered.
What if DoorBird’s own support couldn’t help?
That’s exactly why people come to us. We handle the network, firmware and integration edge cases that the manufacturer’s ticket queue bounces back—book a Technician Service and we’ll dig in.
