The entry point to the current generation: a single-unit station with app control and RFID, no keypad and no fingerprint reader. Where the outgoing D2102V topped out at 720p, this carries the 5 MP HDR camera and the integrated door-release output that removes a separate power supply from the bill of materials. The flush-mount version needs its backbox set during rough-in, which is why it belongs in new construction and gut renovations.

Supplied with its flush-mount housing, recessing into the wall to finish level with the surrounding surface. Plan the backbox into the rough-in; cutting a cavity into finished masonry afterward is the expensive way to arrive here.
