The horizontal-format D31 with a 7″ touch display, scaling to very large buildings without a physical button per unit — visitors search a directory instead. The wide faceplate is the format for broad lobby surrounds and wide stone or glazed entries. Functionally identical to the D31TDV; the choice between them is purely one of proportion at the door.

Warehouse and custom handling takes 8-10 business days before order released to the carrier. Some colors are required extended shipping time, please confirm it, when order placed.

Price includes all taxes, duties, and new U.S. import tariffs on EU goods (effective April 2, 2025) — no hidden fees at checkout or delivery.

Is a monthly subscription required?
No. DoorBird includes free cloud visitor history and local recording — there are no monthly fees to use the intercom or the app.
How is it powered and wired?
A single Ethernet cable via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), or a DoorBird power supply. With PoE you don’t need a separate power run.
Does it work with my smart home?
Yes — Apple Home, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, plus professional platforms: Control4, Loxone, Crestron, KNX, URC, Synology, Fibaro, Homey, Yale and NUKI.
Do I need an indoor monitor?
No — you answer the door from the free DoorBird app on iOS and Android. Optional IP indoor stations are available if you prefer a wall unit.
Which phones does the DoorBird app support?
The free DoorBird app runs on current iOS and Android devices, for both live view and answering the door.
What finishes are available?
DoorBird intercoms come in premium metallic finishes; this model’s options are shown in the finish selector. Additional RAL powder-coat colors are available as special-order — contact us for a quote.
